NASA voyager 2 reached the interstellar space
NASA space probe voyager 2 have crossed
the edge of our solar system. The US-based probe has exited the heliosphere, the protective bubble of particles and magnetic fields created by Sun,enveloping it's planets.
This is the second time in history a man-made probe reached the interstellar space, more than 18billion kilometers from Earth,NASA announced on monday.

Voyager 2 was launched in 1977,16days before Voyager1and both have travelled well beyond their original destination:Jupiter and Saturn, stretching their 4 years life span into 41 years.
Its messages are now taking about 16.5 hours to travel from the spacecraft to Earth, while light travelling from Sun takes about eight minutes to reach our planet
However the probe and it's predecessor have not yet left the solar system since the boundary of the solar system is considered to be beyond the outer rage of Oort cloud. The width of Oort cloud is eatimated to be begin at about 1000astronomical units (AU) from the sun and to extend roto about 100,000AU.1AU is the distance of Earth fron Sun.It will take 300 yearsfor Voyager 2 to reach the inner edge of the Oort cloud and possibly 30,000 years
