Chandrayan 2 landing, historic moments for ISRO and India

Chandrayan 2 will land on southern pole of moon 1:50am IST in the morning

A proud moments for all Indian and especially ISRO scientists, It is now less than 24hr in the landing of Rover on the surface on moon. India will create history and will be only the only country to send a rover to the southern part of moon.

When it will just 35km above the surface, it's all five engine will start to let it go down and then it's will minimise to zero, and then it will be landed softly without any movement. After landing Rover will take a selfie of itself and of lander and then will left the mark of Indian flag and ISRO.

This mission was started 10 years ago after the successful launch of Chandrayan 1. Russian space agency was working on this project with ISRO, ISRO designed Chandrayan but Russian space agency refused to give the Lander so ISRO scientists have to make of it own, so it took 10 long years finally the wait is over.

ISRO the most cost effecient space agency

ISRO is the most cost effecient space agency in the world. The cost of launching a satellite is half with respect to the other agencies in the world. ISRO's mars mission cost was ( roughly $74M) much less than NASA cost of $672M , only 11% of NASA mission.
Chandrayan 2 total costs is around $141M which is much less than that of making Avengers Endgame of $357M.

Purpose of Chandrayan 2.

Chandrayan 1 was the first one to discover water on moon and was one of the greatest discoveries of last decade. Like the first one this mission purpose is also to find water, ice, minerals and possibilities of life and planning for the 3rd mission on moon. Rover Vikram also try to detect the possibility of quake and gravity in the southern part of moon. It will also observe some chemical effects, environment and humidity.

70 students have been selected to watch the landing of Chandrayan 2 live with Pm Narendra Modi. You can also watch it on national television, NASA eye's also on this project and they will also telecast a program on this at Nat Geo.
